Cali and Disneyland

here are some pics of our trip to the beach and Disneyland. We had sooooo much fun as a family! It was such a fun age to take Carter the park and the beach. He loved the rides, especially pirates! I have to give him credit for being very brave, he even toughed out the Madahorn! Im so glad that my parents were able to tag along, it was so fun to have them there...we especially loved watching them get SOAKED on grizzly rapids, that made my stomach hurt I laughed so hard!

Big city weekends

Wow what an amazing last couple weeks it has been! We had the chance to visit Chicago and New York in back to back weekends, so needless to say we had our share of big cities this month. I LOVE to travel, and I also love that Regan is just as passionate about visiting a new place as I am. With our life being so crazy where we don't really have one place to call home consistantly there are downsides, but also many great benefits, and having the ability to travel practically for free is one of them! We had such an incredible time in both cities! I love to be imersed in the hussle and bussle of a big city, but am so grateful for the peace and quiet once I get home. Such a different lifestyle than I am used to, one that I love to visit. While in Chicago we went to the top of the Willis tower (holy cow that was high!), made it through the aquarium and Feild museum, took many beautiful walks through the city and out on Navy Peir, ate the most amazing pizza and food, and even hit up Lu's famous diner and discovered why it's famous... because it's sooooo good! Ran through a rain storm and got soaked, and enjoyed the pool at our hotel. In New York we shopped :)...visited ground zero, Spent alot of time in time square, saw all the sights, Topaz (mmmmm!), played in central park, visited Dillons candy store and FAO schwarts toy store and Carter loved both of those. China town, walked through greenwhich village which was really neat, walked and walked and walked and saw many incredible things! We all had such a great time, including Carter. He was such an amazing little trooper! I am so lucky to be able to take him anywhere! He spent so much time sitting in his stroller walking through the cities, and never complained, in fact I think he enjoyed looking at the sights more that we did! He LOVED to ride on the trains and the taxi cabs or as he calls them "Tixi Tax". His funniest moment of the trips was when we were driving into Chicago and he woke up from sleeping for a couple hours, saw the sky line and saw the really tall Willis tower and said "MOM! look at that really tall tower!!!...it makes me kinda hungry." we still can't help but laugh when we think of him saying that, he is such a crack up! But my very favorite moment of our trips was while we were walking through central park and I hear an "OH CRAP!" come from Regan, look over at him to see a huge bird poop dripping down his hat. God was looking out for him that day when he put on that hat because it was so nasty! but hilarious! Well here is picture overload of our trips...
Chicago

As we came back to our hotel Carter heard the piano music and asked me to dance. He loves to pretend I'm a princess and he is the beast dancing. I don't mind playing this game one bit! he is so cute!

happy birthday

Last weekend we celebrated Regan's birthday, he just turned 28 on Monday! You know how with most people the older you get the less exciting your birthday becomes....well I refuse to let that happen to us, especially with Regan. He deserves any celebration that comes his way! his birthday has always been and always will be a day to look forward to! So this year we celebrated with a cougar game, family dinner, and a super bowl party/ B-day party. I can't express how lucky I am to be married to such an amazing person. He is the longest list of incredible qualities, and I feel so lucky to spend everyday with him. Reg is FUN! he makes me laugh! no matter the situation if you're with Regan, it's bound to be exciting. He's my pal, who loves to adventure with me, and I love our crazy, upside down, sparatic, fun life together. He would do anything for anybody if it meant making them happier. He sacrifices so much for me and Carter, and works so hard to make us happy. Carter loves is Dad, and I love watching the two of them together. Their relationship has been so strong since day one, because Regan does not fall short in any way when it comes to being a dad. He gets up early, works hard all day, comes through the door and plays with that little boy like he has all the energy in the world. And when it comes to being a husband, well he's really good at that too! He is my best friend in all the world. I hope he knows how special he is to us! Happy birthday babe, We love you, and thanks for all that you are and do.

Party!!!!

We had a big bash for Carter Saturday night with a bunch a family and closest friends. He soaked up all the attention, and beamed with joy when we all sang happy birthday to him. It was a fun party, thanks to everybody who came to celebrate with us!

Carter got a bike from my parents which he has been looking forward to for months now! He loves to ride it, too bad he still is a bit too small to peddle, but really close. Reg and I got him a train table to help satisfy his obsession with trains, and everybody else gave him so many thoughtful gifts. I am happy to say that his birthday was a hit this year! I want to celebrate again!

two years

My sweet little boy turned two yesterday, and I just want to jot down a few thoughts on how much he means to me. I feel like the luckiest girl in the world to be able to be a mom to Carter. Everything about that little boy is amazing. Life has been such a fun adventure with him in it. His curiosity helps me to experience new things everyday, and helps me to appreciate the little things in life. He has such a fun and happy energy that draws people to him, I absolutely LOVE this! I love the way his whole body shakes and an adorable squeal comes out when he gets excited about something! He is so goofy and silly, and loves to play. On the other hand he is very collected and careful in certain situations. The best part of my day is when he comes waddling into my room in his footed jammies, his blond hair all messy from sleeping, binky in his mouth, blanky over his shoulder, eyes barely open, with a big smile on his face, and he says "hi mamma!" as he crawls into cuddle with me. Just thinking about it makes my heart swell up and a smile come to my face. The best part is that I get a thousand moments like that every day! Not to mention he is the most adorable little singer. You haven't found true bliss until you have heard Carter sing the Mulan soundtrack or Frosty the Snowman. He is just a bundle of joy! He has lived a crazy life so far, filled with inconsistency from moving, but has tolerated it so well. I am so grateful for his patient personality. He is our little buddy, and I can't remember life without him. He brings us so much happiness! I am excited to continue to watch him grow, and can't wait to see the person he becomes. He is incredible, and I love him with all my heart!
